Right-Wing Planet Earth
The planet earth is basically right-wing. By that I mean we are basically looking after our own interests, and that’s totally natural, as has been so well proven lately by the American Republican Party.
We’re in for Nasty Weather
There’s a new video on YouTube, that I’ve watched a lot. Apparently Tom Jones and the British band The Cardigans have a hit with the old Talking Heads song Burnin' Down the House. To my mind the best version of that song is found in the great concert movie, Stop Making Sense, by Jonathan Demme. It includes what I consider the definitive version of Burnin' Down the House.

To the Trump Voters
For him you voted? You’re a fool.
You’re a Nazi, and you drool.
He plainly said what he would do,
If elected. Naught for you.
A dictatorship we soon will be,
Because you put in power he,
Who knows not how our systems work,
A moral imbecile. A jerk.
